Our organization is in search of a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become a part of our Cardiology team situated in Muskegon and Ludington, Michigan.

Practice Overview:
  • The Cardiovascular Group consists of a regional team featuring a 10-provider cardiology practice in Muskegon and a single-provider practice in Ludington.
  • The selected physician will primarily serve the Ludington community while also having the chance to practice in Muskegon.
  • This group is affiliated with the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a collaborative effort between our organization and the University of Michigan Health-West.
  • Our Muskegon facility boasts a robust Cardio-Thoracic program that supports the Structural Heart initiative and a rapidly expanding Electrophysiology service.
  • We emphasize a collaborative care model that integrates Advanced Practice Professionals, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to enhance our healthcare delivery.
Services Offered:

Cardiac Health Management Services:

  • Management of arrhythmias
  • Care for cardiomyopathy
  • Comprehensive consultations, assessments, and tailored treatment plans
  • Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
  • Coumadin testing and education
  • Lipid management
  • Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) management
  • Full-service pacemaker and implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Clinic with remote monitoring
  • Pre-surgical evaluations
  • Management of Valvular Heart Disease

Hospital Management Services:

  • Cardiac catheterizations
  • Coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI)
  • Electrical cardioversions
  • Emergency angioplasty for heart attacks
  • Inpatient consultations
  • Inpatient diagnostic testing
  • Implantation of pacemakers, bi-ventricular pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillators, and loop recorders
  • Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)
  • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation of obtaining board certification within two years of eligibility.
  • A valid Michigan state medical license is required upon employment.
  • Possession of a DEA license is necessary.
  • BLS Certification is required, along with ongoing recertification.
