Key Responsibilities- Combination of rounding and call duties, including 24-hour or in-house call.
- Manage an average of 5 to 8 patients daily, shared with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Oversee a 14-bed behavioral health unit.
- Handle approximately 3 call backs within a 24-hour period, along with 8 phone consultations.
- Maintain a 30-minute response time for calls.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- Experience with involuntary commitments and restraint applications is required.
- Familiarity with Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) is essential.
This role involves a blend of patient care and on-call responsibilities, ensuring a dynamic work environment.
