Family Medicine Physician - International Clinic: Center for Global Health & Healing

Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group practice with over 650 providers, offering a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Family Practitioner (MD/DO). This role involves joining a dynamic clinic-based practice at our International Clinic, which is part of the Center for Global Health & Healing (CGHH) program.

The International Clinic is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of families and individuals who have recently settled in our community through refugee resettlement and various immigration pathways. We aim to deliver respectful, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and equitable care to all families in the Treasure Valley. Our clinic caters to a diverse patient population from around the world and employs several initiatives to overcome existing barriers to healthcare access. These include home visits, collaboration with the local CARE Clinic, community interpreter services, and partnerships with numerous community organizations. Our providers are deeply committed to enhancing the quality and accessibility of medical services for vulnerable populations. By utilizing an integrative care model, we work closely with interpreters, social workers, health advisors, and resettlement agencies to ensure continuity of care for these communities. Conveniently located near the Regional Medical Center, our practice also offers Ob-Gyn, Travel Medicine, and Civil Surgeon services.

Support Services: Our clinic benefits from 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia, operates as a Level IV Trauma Center, and has an Emergency Department. Additionally, we have an on-site Family Medicine clinic and access to community primary care and specialty clinics, with specialty physicians rotating in for outreach and larger system resources.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment.
• Possession of a valid Idaho medical license to practice in all areas of medicine, along with a valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.
