Exciting Opportunity for an Electrophysiologist

Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiologist to become a part of our Cardiology department. We are a physician-owned multi-specialty group dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Join a thriving team of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 Nurse Practitioners.
  • Participate in a 1:6 call rotation, with the potential for additional call opportunities at $500 per diem, and fellows will take first call.
  • Engage in a diverse practice that includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
  • Perform procedures such as ICDs, pacemakers, ablations (including pulse field technology), and loop recorders.
  • Access a comprehensive range of cardiology services, collaborating with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive guaranteed base salary of $785,104 per year, plus production incentives (2-year guaranteed base).

Candidate Qualifications
  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible, with certification required within three years of eligibility.

Qualifications

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited medical or osteopathic school and have completed a relevant residency program. Board certification or eligibility is required. Candidates must be able to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. A valid Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate are also required.
