Journeyman Electrician – Muscatine, IA
\nWe are seeking 2 non-licensed Journeyman Electricians for an industrial electrical project at Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) in Muscatine, IA. Work will include GRC pipe, wire pulling, light fixture installation, and general industrial electrical work.
\nStart Date: ASAP – August 3rd
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Muscatine, IA
Duration: 3–6 months
Schedule: 40 hours/week, no more than 40 hours
Pay: $45/hour + $100/day per diem for travelers; $50/hour for local candidates
Duties & Responsibilities

Install and work with GRC conduit and electrical systems.
\n - \n
Pull, route, and terminate electrical wire and cable.
\n - \n
Install light fixtures and related electrical equipment.
\n - \n
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
\n - \n
Use electrical hand tools and testing equipment.
\n - \n
Follow all project specifications, electrical codes, and safety requirements.
\n - \n
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
\n
Experience & Requirements

Journeyman-level electrical experience required; electrical license not required.
\n - \n
Commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
\n - \n
Experience with GRC pipe, conduit installation, wire pulling, and light fixtures.
\n - \n
Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
\n - \n
Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices.
\n - \n
Must complete a required online safety orientation before starting, which may take significant time.
\n - \n
Must be available to start ASAP, with an anticipated start date of August 3rd.
