\n Our high-demand orthopedic practice in Prescott Valley, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide advanced orthopedic care alongside experienced surgeons and a dedicated rehab team. Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Perform comprehensive orthopedic patient assessments, including detailed musculoskeletal physical examinations
  • \n
  • Evaluate patients pre- and postoperatively, monitor recovery progress, and adjust care plans as needed
  • \n
  • Develop and implement individualized orthopedic treatment plans in collaboration with supervising surgeons
  • \n
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and relevant laboratory tests to guide clinical decision-making
  • \n
  • Manage pain in orthopedic patients using evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies
  • \n
  • Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment options, postoperative care, and rehabilitation expectations
  • \n
  • Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize care transitions and outcomes
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited NP program; national NP certification (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP) required or eligible
  • \n
  • Current Arizona NP licensure (or eligibility), current or eligible DEA registration, and BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • \n
  • Clinical experience or strong clinical rotations in orthopedics or musculoskeletal care (new grads with relevant rotations considered)
  • \n
  • Proficient in orthopedic assessment, treatment planning, and diagnostic imaging interpretation within scope of practice
  • \n
  • Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • \n
  • Orthopedic-focused certification (e.g., ONP-C) preferred but not mandatory
  • \n
