  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician.
  • Medical license and DEA registration in the State of Michigan.
  • Strong clinical expertise in general pediatrics, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease follow-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team-based care.
  • Comfortable with electronic medical records (experience with EPIC or similar systems preferred).
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
  • Interest in engaging in quality improvement initiatives, population health, or value-based care models is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric patients (from newborns to adolescents).
  • Conducting well-child visits, acute care consultations, and managing chronic conditions.
  • Performing routine developmental screenings, immunizations, and preventive care.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialists, behavioral health providers, care managers, and nursing staff.
  • Utilizing EPIC for documentation, care coordination, and quality tracking.
  • No inpatient rounding, hospital calls, or delivery attendance required.
  • Minimal phone-only call shared with the group (nurse triage support provided).
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care models.
  • Opportunity to mentor students or residents if desired.
