Join Our Team as an OB Hospitalist

We are seeking to expand our team, which currently includes:

  • 1 Full-Time OB Hospitalist
  • 1 Part-Time OB Hospitalist
  • 3 PRN OB Hospitalists
  • 1 OBGYN
  • 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • 2 Midwives

Our facility handles a significant number of births each year and requires:

  • 7 shifts of 24 hours each month

We are equipped with a Level II NICU that operates around the clock, staffed by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses, along with an on-site blood bank for immediate needs.

This position also offers a teaching opportunity for Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, who are present in Labor & Delivery 24/7.

Our in-house specialists are available for consultation and collaboration in various areas, including:

  • Cardiology
  • Orthopedics
  • Reconstructive Surgery
  • Anesthesiology

We maintain a collaborative relationship with a regional Perinatology team to ensure high-risk obstetric management and seamless specialty consultations.

Candidate Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (must achieve board certification within three years of eligibility)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, which includes:

  • Base Salary: $400,000 annually
  • Bonus Package: $150,000
  • Relocation Allowance: Up to $15,000
  • Annual CME Allowance: $6,000

Additional Qualifications

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited medical or osteopathic school and have completed a relevant residency program. Candidates should be board certified or eligible and must be able to obtain medical staff privileges at our facility. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. A valid Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate are required.
