Our organization is on the lookout for a General Surgeon to become part of our esteemed surgical team in Mason City, IA. This vibrant, high-volume practice is equipped with advanced technology and provides a comprehensive range of surgical services.
Opportunity Highlights- Collaborate with a team consisting of 3 General Surgeons, 1 Acute/Trauma General Surgeon, and 2 Physician Assistants.
- Engage in a hybrid model that combines General and Acute Trauma Surgery, featuring both elective procedures and trauma care.
- Perform a full range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgeries, as well as endoscopy, rounding, and consultations in the clinic and emergency department.
- Enjoy dedicated block operating room time.
- Utilize 2 DaVinci XI Robots for advanced surgical techniques.
- Participate in on-call duties approximately 7-8 days per month.
- Work with an Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
- Receive a guaranteed base salary of $462,000 per year for the first two years, with production-based compensation starting in year three.
- Benefit from a $100,000 recruitment incentive.
- Access a moving allowance of up to $15,000.

- A degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is required.
- Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.

- Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
