- Focus on outpatient clinical care.

- Completion of fellowship training in either Geriatric Neurology or Behavioral Neurology is required.

Our integrated multispecialty practice, comprising ten neurologists and four advanced practice providers, offers comprehensive management of a wide range of neurological conditions. We are recognized as an MS Center of Excellence by The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Our services include outreach and tele-neurology, complemented by the expertise of three neuropsychologists who provide extensive testing. We collaborate closely with specialists in neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pain management. Our commitment to clinical research is matched by our role as faculty for residents in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine, as well as medical students from Des Moines University.
About Our Medical CenterOur medical center, part of a network of four hospitals in central and southern Iowa, boasts a total of 875 beds and oversees 16 rural hospitals. The main facility is a Level II Trauma center with 550 beds, serving a tertiary area of 1.4 million people and hosting one of the busiest emergency departments in Iowa. We have received the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association and are certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.
