About the Position\n

An established, physician-led, regional healthcare system in Central Washington is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing Sleep Medicine team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice alongside experienced Sleep Medicine physicians within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that serves patients across a large geographic region.

  • Full-time schedule with 4 ten-hour days per week, providing an excellent work-life balance.
  • \n
Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Evaluate new and established patients with a wide range of sleep disorders through comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
  • \n
  • Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic testing, including home and in-lab sleep studies.
  • \n
  • Diagnose and treat sleep-related conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and other sleep disorders.
  • \n
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with Sleep Medicine physicians.
  • \n
  • Prescribe medications, durable medical equipment (DME), and other therapies appropriate to each patient's needs.
  • \n
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies and other diagnostic testing as indicated.
  • \n
  • Provide patient education regarding sleep health, treatment options, and long-term management.
  • \n
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • \n
  • Coordinate referrals to Sleep Medicine physicians and other specialists when appropriate.
  • \n
  • Maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
  • \n
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other departmental responsibilities as needed.

  • Annual Salary: $130,000 - $151,000, based on experience
