We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our vibrant outpatient practice, which is experiencing significant patient volume.
Enjoy a 4.5-day work week in a stunning, patient-centered Cancer Center.
Team EnvironmentBecome part of a collaborative group consisting of:
- 3 Hematology Oncologists
- 2 Radiation Oncologists
- 3 Advanced Practice Providers
As an Advanced Practice Provider, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting bone marrow biopsies and aspirate procedures
- Managing patients undergoing active treatment
- Following up with patients post-treatment
Our Cancer Center underwent a $10 million expansion and renovation completed in 2021, featuring:
- 24 infusion chairs
- 20 examination rooms
We maintain a manageable patient load to promote a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, we offer survivorship and genetics programs on-site.
Enjoy the benefit of NO CALL responsibilities, as our 24/7 Hospitalist team manages most inpatient duties and calls.
Participate in weekly tumor boards alongside on-site specialists from various fields, including Pathology, Radiology, General Surgery, Urology, and Gastroenterology.
Our support staff includes a dietitian, nurse navigators, physical therapists, clinical pharmacists, financial counselors, and tumor registrars.
Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation package includes:
- Base Salary: $114,121 for 0-2 years of experience; $118,876 for 2+ years, plus production incentives
- A starting bonus of $10,000
- A comprehensive benefits package effective from day one, including:
- Paid malpractice and tail coverage
- $3,000 for continuing medical education annually

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or completion of a CAHEA-approved Physician Assistant training program
- Successful certification
- Current licensure in Iowa as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
- The ability to obtain staff privileges at our medical center
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
