Senior Auuditor

Kforce's client, a well-known organization located in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking a Senior Auditor to support internal audit activities across a global environment. Summary: This role will lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, assess risk, and partner with leadership to drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting Perform risk assessments and develop audit scope and testing approaches Conduct interviews, review documentation, and analyze audit evidence Identify control gaps and provide actionable recommendations Present findings to management through reports and presentations Partner with business leaders during opening and closing audit meetings Monitor audit progress and communicate status updates to leadership Support development of audit programs and risk assessments Mentor and support junior team members and global audit staff Build strong relationships across cross-functional stakeholders Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 3+ years of auditing, accounting, or business analysis experience Internal audit experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of audit standards, internal controls, and accounting principles Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Proven ability to work independently and lead projects Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent) or in progress highly preferred The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
