This position involves:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 10-hour shifts; weekend on-call may be required.
• Patient Load: Expect to see 18 to 24 patients per shift, with an average census of 10 to 15 patients.
• Practice Environment: Inpatient setting.
• Delivery Practices: Most deliveries are conducted by midwives.
• Scope of Practice: Full-scope OB/GYN; both clinic and call options are available.
• Required Skills: Proficiency in C-section, VBAC, breech, and complex delivery procedures is essential. Surgical GYN skills for open and major operative procedures are also necessary.
• Delivery Volume: Approximately 80 to 90 deliveries each month.
