Our organization is a physician-led multispecialty group with over 650 providers, currently in search of a full-time Rheumatologist. This role involves joining a thriving multispecialty practice and establishing a new rheumatology service within a network of hospital-based clinics. We aim to provide this essential service to a community that currently has limited access to rheumatology specialists. The ideal candidate will adopt a proactive stance towards practice development for the Treasure Valley population, dedicating time to program enhancement. This position will also support a Bone Health Clinic in collaboration with our orthopedic advanced practice providers (APPs) and work alongside endocrinologists in a more conventional rheumatology environment. The typical clinic schedule runs Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 34 patient contact hours each week, and involves clinic call only.

Support Offered:

We provide advanced imaging services available 24/7, comprehensive outpatient physical and occupational therapy, high-complexity laboratory and pathology support, an infusion center, and a research department to facilitate participation in clinical trials.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Completion of a Rheumatology Fellowship accredited by the Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Board certification in Rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or the ability to obtain this certification within three years.
  • Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC and/or other affiliated hospitals as necessary.
  • Current controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
  • This role will be divided between our orthopedic clinic and endocrine clinic located in Boise.
