Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physician

Join our dynamic outpatient practice that is experiencing high patient volume right from the start.

• Collaborative Team: Work alongside 3 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider.
• Comprehensive Care: Provide care for patients from newborns to seniors, with no obstetrics required (optional shared care available).
• No On-Call Duties: Enjoy a work-life balance with no on-call responsibilities.
• Additional Compensation: Extra pay available for ER and inpatient work.
• Access to Specialists: Collaborate with specialists in various fields, including general surgery, cardiology, ENT, nephrology, and more.
• On-Site Services: Benefit from a range of facilities including lab, x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and more, all located on-site.
• Community Impact: Serve a population of 12,000 residents in Hancock County through our 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic.
• Trauma Care: Work in a Level IV Area Trauma Care Facility, affiliated with a Level III Trauma Center and regional teaching hospital.

About Our Health System

We are a regional health system serving 14 counties, which includes multiple critical access hospitals and clinics across northern Iowa, catering to approximately 260,000 residents. Telemedicine and teleradiology services are also available.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including:

• Bonus Package: $150,000.
• Base Salary: $301,290 plus production incentives.
• PTO: 34 days of paid time off while on base; 40 days when on production.
• CME Allowance: $4,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school.
• Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at our facility.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in Iowa, as well as an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
