Job Description
Job Opportunity: Board-Certified General Diagnostic/Neuroradiology Radiologist

Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified General Diagnostic/Neuroradiology Radiologist to become a full-time faculty member within the Department of Radiology at our medical center located in Maywood, Illinois, just 20 minutes from downtown Chicago.

The selected candidate will be part of a distinguished Radiology Department comprising 50 subspecialized radiologists who provide clinical services across our medical center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and affiliated outpatient care facilities. The department also includes 28 residents and one abdominal imaging fellow, making resident and fellow education a vital aspect of our mission. Evidence of teaching and mentorship will be crucial in our selection process.

We are looking for a candidate who has completed a formal fellowship in Neuroradiology and holds board certification in radiology, along with sub-specialty certification in Neuroradiology. A strong interest or experience in clinical and translational research, as well as a commitment to education, is highly encouraged. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in neuroradiology procedures, with special expertise in advanced imaging techniques and/or spinal interventions being a plus.

Compensation and faculty rank will be aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Applicants must possess a valid license to practice in Illinois by the time of hiring. There are ample opportunities for engaging in clinical and translational research, making this a remarkable chance for a Radiologist to join both our health system and Trinity Health.

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
  • Compensation based on academic rank and experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Generous paid time off
  • Paid malpractice insurance, including post-employment tail coverage
  • Reimbursement for relocation expenses (following IRS guidelines)
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) days and allowance
  • Additional benefits from our organization or the VA (if applicable)

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit a cover letter and CV to our Physician Recruitment Office, as well as apply online.

We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants, regardless of race, color, religion (where applicable), national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or protected veteran status.
