Outpatient Neurology - Physician - Albany/Clifton Park, NY

Our organization is actively looking for additional Outpatient Neurologists to join our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the vibrant Capital Region of New York.

With locations in Albany and Clifton Park, this is a remarkable chance to be part of a physician-led group that boasts a well-established neurology department currently undergoing expansion and integration of its services. We are open to welcoming new graduates and provide a nurturing environment supported by experienced physicians eager to offer mentorship. Our practice has recently transitioned to a modern, state-of-the-art office designed to enhance both patient experiences and provider satisfaction.

• Outpatient role from Monday to Friday with a shared call rotation among providers.
• Join an established practice featuring 3 full-time physicians and a team of 2 advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.
• Enjoy shared rotational call and robust practice support.
• Proficiency in EMG/NCS and EEG is required.
• Opportunities for sleep study readings are available.
• Access to sub-specialties, including an MS Headache Center, with strong support from Hospitalists.
• Specialization opportunities in neuromuscular and epilepsy are available on dedicated days for those with relevant expertise.

Qualifications:

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory (general care is the primary focus).
• Excellent clinical and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to team-oriented patient care.
• A desire to provide general neurological care.

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Base compensation ranging from $330,000 to $340,000, with potential for increased earnings through productivity.
• The stated salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensations. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
• Signing bonus of $25,000.
• Retention bonus of $15,000 upon reaching the 2-year mark.

• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
• 5 days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.
