Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician

Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology Physician to become part of our dedicated team. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty clinic committed to providing exceptional healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Collaborate with a team consisting of one physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
  • On-call rotation: 1:2.
  • Conduct surgical procedures at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional teaching hospital, as well as at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the same campus.
  • Serve a primary service area with a population of approximately 260,000.
  • Work at a Level III Trauma Center equipped with helicopter services.
Compensation Package
  • Annual salary: $543,428 plus production incentives.
  • Bonus package totaling $70,000 over two years ($140,000 total).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurance, continuing medical education (CME) support, relocation assistance, paid time off (PTO), health, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings account (HSA), disability coverage, and a generous employer retirement contribution.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible; must achieve board certification within three years of eligibility.

  • All offers are subject to successful completion of references, background checks, pre-employment physicals, and drug screenings.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is required.
  • Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
  • Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, as well as an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
