Join Our OB Hospitalist Team in Mason City

We invite you to become a part of our dedicated team, which includes:

  • 1 Full-Time and 1 Part-Time OB Hospitalist
  • 3 PRN OB Hospitalists
  • 1 OBGYN
  • 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • 2 Midwives

Our facility handles a significant number of births annually and offers:

  • 7 shifts of 24 hours each per month
  • A Level II NICU staffed around the clock by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses, with an on-site blood bank
  • Teaching opportunities for Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, available 24/7 in Labor & Delivery
  • Access to in-house specialists for collaborative patient care, including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, and Anesthesiology
  • A partnership with a regional Perinatology team to enhance high-risk obstetric management and specialty consultations

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, which includes:

  • Base Salary: $400,000 per year
  • Bonus Package: $150,000
  • Moving Allowance: Up to $15,000
  • Annual CME Allowance: $6,000

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school
  • Completion of a relevant residency program, demonstrating competency as a physician
  • Board certified or board eligible, with the ability to obtain medical staff privileges at our facility
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Licensed or eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
