Job Description
Our organization is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team in Mason City, Iowa.
The North Iowa Anesthesia Associates comprises a dedicated group of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs who deliver anesthesia services for our progressive medical center and the nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center. Responsibilities will include managing daily assignments and call rotations among the staff and physicians. The chosen candidate will handle a variety of cases, including General, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Pediatric, and Obstetric procedures. Our facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center, and the selected individual will also oversee CRNAs.
This role involves covering Cardiac surgeries and providing Cardiac call from Monday to Thursday. General weekend call will be required for six weekends annually, along with one holiday each year. Compensation for being on call will apply to Cardiac anesthesia procedures performed during that time. If there are no scheduled Cardiac cases during the week, the provider will be assigned to general cases.
A Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship is mandatory, or TEE certification will be accepted.
