Class 2 HIAB Driver Location: LeedsPay Rate: £18.00 per hourJob Type: Ongoing Holiday & Sickness CoverStart Date: Immediate Starts AvailableShift Pattern: Monday to FridayStart Time: 07:00About the Role Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers for a well-established roofing materials supplier based in Leeds.This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular holiday and sickness cover with a respected client. The role involves delivering roofing materials and associated products to roofing contractors, residential properties and construction sites across Leeds, Wakefield, Harrogate and York.You'll typically complete 45 deliveries per day , with the majority of deliveries offloaded using a HIAB crane. Only occasional manual handling is required, making this a varied role where professionalism and customer service are key.Key Responsibilities Deliver roofing materials safely and efficiently to customer sitesOperate a HIAB crane to unload products safelyComplete approximately 45 deliveries per shiftCarry out daily vehicle safety checksComplete delivery paperwork accuratelyProvide excellent customer service at every deliveryAssist with occasional manual handling where requiredComply with Driver Hours and Working Time RegulationsRequirements Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) LicenceValid HIAB Certificate (ALLMI or equivalent)Driver CPC Qualification CardDigital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 2 HIAB driving experience preferredMaximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)Polite, punctual and professional approach with excellent customer service skillsReliable and safety-focused attitudeWhy Work With Recruit A Driver?
