This role involves clean and efficient depot-to-depot transport work, delivering to RDC, NDC, and CDC locations nationwide while maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service.Day shifts generally involve 1 collection and 1 delivery , while night shifts focus mainly on HUB-to-HUB trunking routes with minimal handball involved. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while remaining compliant with driver hours and transport legislation.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for ongoing regular work, flexible shift patterns, and competitive PAYE pay rates with support from a professional transport recruitment team.Pay Progression Days: £17.93 per hourNights: £19.05 per hourWeekends: Up to £21.29 per hourWeekly PAYE pay directly through Millison Chase LimitedOngoing regular work availableResponsibilities Day Shifts Completing 1 collection and 1 delivery per shiftDelivering to RDC, NDC, and CDC locations across the UKEnsuring transport paperwork is completed accuratelyCarrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reportingMaintaining excellent customer service standardsNight Shifts Completing HUB-to-HUB trunking routesCarrying out clean and straightforward depot-to-depot workOperating vehicles safely and professionally at all timesFollowing all drivers hours and tachograph regulationsCommunicating effectively with transport teams and site staffRequirements Applicants must hold:Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) LicenceValid Driver CPC CardDigital Tachograph CardMinimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)Good communication and timekeeping skillsDrivers should be:Reliable and punctualFlexible with working hours and shift patternsAble to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional in appearance and attitudePlease note:Millison Chase Limited does not sponsor work visas.
