Job Title: CNC ProgrammerLocation: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 8JHSalary: £20 Per HourJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAre you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a role where you can genuinely utilise your programming skills rather than simply operating machinery?We are recruiting for a skilled senior CNC Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Tewkesbury Following significant investment in new machinery, including modern Doosan CNC and Star sliding head machines, the business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced CNC Programmer who can programme, set and optimise production processes.This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Programmer seeking a stable long-term position within a growing manufacturer that supplies precision-engineered components to customers worldwide.About The Role:As a Senior CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include:Programming CNC machines using Fanuc controlsCreating and modifying CNC programmes from engineering drawingsSetting and proving out new jobsOptimising cycle times and production efficiencyTool selection, tooling offsets and machine set-upReading and interpreting engineering drawingsProducing precision components to tight tolerancesSupporting continuous improvement activitiesMaintaining high quality standards throughout productionYou will primarily be working on modern Doosan and Star machinery manufacturing components in Stainless steels.The company manufactures high-volume precision components, with batch sizes ranging from one-off components through to several hundred parts.What We're Looking For:To be successful in this CNC Programmer position, you should have:Previous CNC Programming experienceFanuc controls experienceCNC turning experience including live tooling.Experience setting and proving out CNC jobsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience working within a precision engineering environmentExperience with sliding head machines would be beneficial but is not essential.Candidates with Turning experience are particularly encouraged to apply, although exposure to CNC 5 axis milling would also be advantageous.Experience of Fusion 360 desirableWhat's On Offer?Starting salary £20 per hourRegular overtime availableOvertime paid at 1.5x39-hour working weekMonday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5 pmFriday finish 1pmPermanent positionInvestment in modern CNC machineryStable and established engineering businessSupportive management teamGenuine long-term career opportunityIf you're a CNC Programmer looking for a role that offers hands-on programming responsibility, modern machinery, regular overtime and long-term stability, we'd like to hear from you.Please click the APPLY button and to submit your CV and Cover Letter.Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of; CNC Programming, CNC Programmer, CNC Design Engineer, Product Design, Product, Product Development, CAD, AutoCAD Engineer, Solid Works Engineer, CAD Engineer, AutoCAD Technician, Design Technician, Programming, Mechanical Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer may also be considered for this role.TPBN1_UKTJ
