The Project,We are recruiting on behalf of a highways contractor for the Bournebridge Hill, Halstead Section 278 Highway Works scheme in Essex. A full-time supervisor is in place on site to handle paperwork we need a competent team to build the job. This is a long-term opportunity running through to December 2026.Working HoursMonday to Friday | 07:30 16:30Occasional Saturdays | 07:30 12:00 full day payThe RoleYou will work as part of a three-man gang on a live highways scheme, carrying out kerb laying and general groundworks activities across the site.Scope of works includes:Installing kerbs, edgings and tactile pavingDrainage installation including ditches and new surface water drainage runsCarriageway construction support worksGeneral highways groundworksRequirementsProven kerb laying experience (essential)Previous highways or civils groundworks experienceCSCS card (essential)NRSWA Streetworks Operative ticket (at least one per gang essential)Full 6-point PPE including fireproof overallsAvailable to start 27th July 2026 no exceptionsAble to commit to the full duration through to December 2026What's on OfferCompetitive day rate dependent on experienceFull day pay on Saturday workingLong-term project until December 2026Contact Luca directly on 07471 216965 for any questions.TPBN1_UKTJ
