Shift Allowance + Bonus + BenefitsOverview We are seeking two experienced Shift Electricians to join the engineering team at Tarmac's Linford site on an ongoing contract. This is a hands-on maintenance role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant and production equipment.Shift Pattern Employees work a rotating shift pattern consisting of blocks of day shifts and night shifts followed by multiple rest days, this includes weekends:Night Shift (18:00pm – 06:00am)Day Shift (06:00am – 18:00pm)Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and production machineryDiagnose faults and repair electrical systems and equipmentMaintain and replace components including motors, inverter drives, contactors, and control systemsEnsure all work is completed in line with site safety and statutory standardsRespond to breakdowns and planned maintenance across the siteWork both independently and as part of the wider engineering teamRequirements Recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environmentsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience with motors, drives, and automation control systems17th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulation s (or equivalent)Basic IT skills and ability to use maintenance systemsDesirable Experience in heavy industrial, aggregates, or continuous process environmentsPLC experience (Siemens S5 / S7)Shift-based maintenance experienceTPBN1_UKTJ
