Property Asset Manager

We're now looking for a Group Property Asset Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract and help maximise the performance and long-term value of our property portfolio.About the RoleReporting to the Head of Property, you'll take ownership of a defined region, managing both trading and non-trading assets. From rent reviews and lease renewals to landlord negotiations and identifying asset management opportunities, you'll play a key role in ensuring our estate remains fit for the future.This role offers a 12-month fixed-term contract as maternity cover and will be field based, requiring regular travel across the north and east of England, and to our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.Key responsibilities will include:Leading rent review and lease renewal negotiationsIdentifying opportunities to optimise portfolio performanceManaging landlord and tenant matters, including licences, deeds of variation and dilapidationsBuilding strong relationships across the property industrySupporting service charge, rates, insurance and budget management activitiesProviding commercially focused estate management advice that supports business growthAbout YouProperty or estates management experience, ideally within a retail environmentStrong commercial and negotiation skillsAbility to influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomesAnalytical problem-solver with excellent attention to detailMRICS qualified (preferred, not essential)Comfortable travelling when required and working in a hybrid environmentWhy Pets at Home?Join a business that's continuing to invest, expand and innovate.
