CNC Machine OperativeLocation: Plymouth, DevonSalary: £34,580 per annumShifts: Alternating AM & Late ShiftsAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operative to join a well-established and respected engineering manufacturer based in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for producing high-quality precision components across a range of industries.Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient manufacturing processes on alternating shift patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery in line with production requirementsLoad and unload materials and components safely and efficientlyMonitor machine performance and ensure output meets quality standardsCarry out basic machine adjustments and report any faults or issuesConduct quality checks using measuring equipmentWork to engineering drawings and specifications where requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the production areaFollow all health & safety procedures and company policiesAbout YouEssential:Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environmentExperience operating CNC machinery or similar production equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work effectively as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and flexible with shift workDesirable:Experience reading engineering drawingsKnowledge of CNC programming or machine settingBackground in precision engineering or heavy manufacturingFamiliarity with measuring tools such as calipers or micrometersWhat's in it for You?Stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable engineering manufacturerStructured shift pattern offering work-life balanceOpportunity to develop skills within a skilled machining environmentSupportive team and professional working environmentInterested?
