Known for delivering high-quality handling and access solutions, they are expanding their workshop team and looking for an experienced Forklift Engineer.What's on Offer24 days holiday + bank holidays (32 total)Overtime available at 1.5x rateOngoing training & development (electrical, mechanical & diagnostics)Company pension schemeStable, workshop-based role (minimal travel)Excellent career progression opportunitiesStrong earning potentialThe RoleBased at the Wellingborough site, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of forklift trucks and plant machinery within a workshop environment.Key responsibilities include:Diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing, and completing repairs on forklift and plant equipmentConducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used machineryCarrying out mechanical and electrical fault findingWorking on key systems including:EnginesBatteriesHydraulicsPneumaticsReconditioning and preparing equipment for hire or resaleCompleting job sheets and service records accuratelyMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshopWhat We're Looking For? Experience working in the plant, agricultural, HGV or material handling industries (essential)? Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems (essential)? Experience with engines and battery-powered equipment? Solid fault finding, service, and repair skills? NVQ / City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)?
