Fabricator Welder Droitwich Full Time - 40 hours Upto £16 p.h plus overtime premiumAbout the role of Fabricator Welder:We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator welder to join a well-established manufacturer in Droitwich.As a fabricator welder, you will be working with heavy material with upto 20mm gauge. Therefore for this position you must have worked with heavy steel previously with structural or plant work, ideally with 1.2 mm wire.Contract and Benefits of fabricator welder:- Temp - Perm contract - with full time contract offered after successful completion of 3 month probationMonday - Friday roleWeekday and weekend overtime availableWorking hours 40 - Mon-Fri0730 - 1600Onsite free parkingCanteen and local amenitiesPension enrolmentUpto £16 phPrivate medical insuranceCore responsibilities of a fabricator welder:Operating Equipment: Set up, maintain, and operate MIG welding machines and hand tools to create or repair metal structures.Reading Drawings: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine specifications and layout.Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, fit, and weld various materialstypically mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminiuminto finished products.Quality Control: Inspect welds for strength, quality, and accuracy, ensuring they meet industry standards and project tolerances.Safety & Maintenance: Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols (PPE), and perform routine maintenance on equipment.Finishing: Use grinders and power tools to smooth, polish, or finish welded parts.Key Skills required for fabricator welder:Proven experience working with heavy materialIdeally have worked with 1.2 welding wireMust be able to read and interpret engineering drawings to a good levelWilling to travel on rare occasions to client site for installs and maintenanceKeen eye and hands on attitudeIdeally come from a plant, commercial vehicle or structural backgroundIf you wish to apply for the role of fabricator welder, send in your CV and cover letter and a consultant will provide initial feedback within 24 hours of submission.TPBN1_UKTJ
