Team Leader Childrens Residential Location: Bolton Salary: £14.50 £14.75 per hour + £60 sleep rateWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a childrens residential home in Bolton, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step into leadership, or further develop within a Team Leader position.Key ResponsibilitiesLead shifts and support the day-to-day operation of the homeProvide supervision, guidance, and support to staff to maintain high standards of careSupport the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with The Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and safeguarding frameworksPromote positive behaviour support and manage challenging behaviours effectivelyMaintain accurate records, reports, and case documentationContribute to care reviews, planning meetings, and multi-agency workingSupport the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the overall running of the homeAct as a role model through direct work with children and young peopleRequirementsPrevious experience within childrens residential careLevel 3 in Children's ResidentialExperience working at Senior/Team Leader level (or ready to step up)Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulationsAbility to lead shifts and support staff developmentExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull UK driving licence (preferred)Additional InformationSleep-in duties required (£60 per sleep)Enhanced DBS requiredOngoing training and development opportunitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a service that is committed to providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.Apply now or contact us for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
