Class 2 Driver | Dukinfield | Full Time | £14.50 per hour + Expenses, Night Out Allowance & BonusesOur client is a Manchester-based transport, warehousing and logistics provider offering bespoke delivery services throughout the UK and Europe.With secure warehousing facilities and specialist two-man home delivery services, they are committed to providing a personal, professional and reliable service to customers of all sizes.The RoleDeliver high-end quality household furniture, garden furniture, bedrooms, kitchens and bathroom systems directly to end consumers, along with steel manufactured products to businessesEnsure goods are handled with the utmost careFollow planned routes and think on your feet when faced with obstacles and mishaps on the roadCommunicate effectively with customers, installation teams and the operations deskBe courteous and polite at all times, maintaining a good appearanceWork well as part of a two-man teamWhat We're Looking ForMust be CPC qualifiedExcellent literacy and communication skills for paperwork and customer contactPreferable experience handling high-end quality goodsPhysically fit due to manual handling requirementsConfident in strapping and securing obscure loads, i.e. loose kitchen units, canteen lockers, appliances, etcFlexible with availability, night outs and varying start and finish timesOvernight stays are required as vehicles can be scheduled on 2–3-day runs.
