Are you looking to kick-start your career in business administration while making a real difference to students' futures? We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Apprentice Work Experience Co-ordinator to join our Work Experience Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a Business Administration apprenticeship , supporting students, employers and curriculum teams to deliver high-quality work experience opportunities.Working across both College campuses, you'll play a key role in ensuring work experience placements run smoothly, supporting everything from administration and compliance to employer engagement and events. You'll also have six hours of protected off-the-job training each week to complete your apprenticeship.What you'll do: Provide administrative support to the Head of Careers and Work Experience and the Work Experience team.Support the coordination of work experience placements across the College.Ensure health and safety documentation, parental consent and compliance checks are completed before placements begin.Monitor and respond to the Employability team inbox, directing enquiries where appropriate.Maintain accurate student and employer records using the College's placement management system.Produce reports and carry out routine data audits to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.Support the DBS application process for placements where required.Assist with the administration of block placement weeks, liaising with students, parents and employers.Help organise employability events, careers fairs, employer talks, mock interviews and volunteering opportunities.Liaise with employers, curriculum teams and College departments to support successful events.Assist with promotional activities by gathering learner and employer case studies.Support general office administration, including room bookings, ordering stationery and updating guidance materials.What we're looking for: Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.A positive and professional approach to customer service.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a team.An interest in business administration and developing a career in administration or education support.A willingness to learn new systems and continuously develop your skills.An understanding of work experience, T Levels or compliance processes would be advantageous but is not essential.A commitment to delivering excellent service to students, employers and colleagues.A willingness to work across both the North Star and Queens Drive campuses and occasionally support events outside normal working hours.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sectors of the community.Please note that this vacancy may close before the published closing date if sufficient applications are received, so if you are interested, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.To apply, you must have the right to work in the UK.
