Packaging / Manufacturing TechnicianWorthing (Onsite)£15.49 per hour PAYE (Increasing to £17.21 per hour after 12 weeks)12 Month ContractRolling Shifts (2 x 12 hour days followed by 2 x 12 hour nights, then 4 day break)Our client is currently searching for a Packaging / Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Worthing! This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing team, ensuring products are packaged efficiently and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate as a member of the packaging team in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Carry out packaging activities in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standardsEnsure all products are produced to required specifications and within set timeframesDeliver planned output targets while maintaining quality and efficiencyFollow all site health and safety requirements at all timesWear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredMaintain clean, organised work areas in line with 5S standardsKeep training records up to date and complete required trainingAdhere to strict timekeeping, including shift start/end times and breaksExperience RequiredGCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferredPrevious experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (preferred but not essential)Understanding of GMP or working within regulated environments is advantageousStrong attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to follow procedures and work accuratelyGood communication and teamwork skillsReliable with excellent timekeeping and attendanceIf you are interested in this position, please do not hesitate to apply!
