He enjoys:Travelling on buses and trainsMeeting friends for lunchGoing for walks in the local communityPlaying football and going bowlingPlanning and enjoying holidays (he loves to travel twice a year)Although he uses limited verbal communication, he understands those around him well and enjoys social interaction and spending time with people. He has his own unique ways of expressing what he wants and needs. Don't worry if you haven't supported someone with this communication style before - full training and ongoing support will be provided .About you You will provide person-centred support, helping this gentleman live the life he chooses. This includes:Supporting him to access the community and attend social activitiesEncouraging independence and developing daily living skillsAssisting with shopping, meal preparation and household tasksSupporting with budgeting and managing financesProviding personal care when requiredPromoting choice, dignity and well being in all aspects of daily lifeShift Pattern Shifts are between 7:00am and 9:00pm30 hours per weekFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, is essentialIf you're caring, reliable, and passionate about supporting people to lead fulfilling lives, we'd love to hear from you.
