B1.3 Engineer

The RoleAs a B1.3 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, and certification of EC155 helicopters, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational readiness.You'll be trusted to make a real impact, applying your technical expertise to keep aircraft serviceable and mission-ready while contributing to a strong safety-first culture.What You'll Be DoingCarrying out maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on EC155 helicopters in accordance with approved maintenance data.Certifying maintenance activities within the privileges of your B1.3 licence.Diagnosing and rectifying aircraft defects efficiently and effectively.Performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.Ensuring full compliance with UK CAA Part-145 and applicable regulatory requirements.Completing technical records and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.Maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.Collaborating with colleagues and operational teams to support fleet availability and reliability.What We're Looking ForEssential RequirementsUK CAA Part-66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.Valid Airbus Helicopters EC155 Type Rating.Proven hands-on experience working on Airbus Helicopters aircraft, ideally the EC155.Strong knowledge of Part-145 regulations and maintenance best practices.Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.Right to live and work in the UK.Desirable ExperienceAdditional helicopter type ratings (e.g. AW109, H175 or similar).Experience supporting VIP helicopter operations.Current Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety training.Previous experience in line and/or base maintenance environments.What Makes You SuccessfulWe're looking for someone who is:Passionate about aircraft safety and technical excellence.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.A proactive problem-solver with strong diagnostic skills.A team player who communicates effectively at all levels.Flexible and adaptable to operational requirements, including shifts and on-call duties when required.TPBN1_UKTJ
