Debt Recovery ParalegalGlasgowSalary DOEWe are working with a well-established Glasgow-based law firm seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Paralegal to join its busy and growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who thrives in a high-volume, process-driven environment and is confident managing their own caseload.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a high volume of debt recovery matters, primarily relating to property factor work (such as unpaid service charges), progressing cases efficiently from initial instruction through to decree.The work is structured and system-led, with clear processes in place to support effective case management.Key responsibilities include:Managing a high-volume caseload of debt recovery mattersIssuing statutory and 7-day demand lettersRaising and progressing Simple Procedure actionsApplying for decrees/judgments and court ordersEnsuring all actions are progressed in line with strict timelines and internal processesMaintaining accurate records using case management systemsYou can expect to handle circa 30–40 actions per week, working within a consistent and well-organised workflow.About YouPrevious experience in debt recovery or civil litigationExperience managing your own caseload independentlyExposure to high-volume, process-driven work environmentsFamiliarity with Scottish court proceduresStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectivelyThis role is well suited to someone who enjoys structured work, is detail-oriented, and can handle a steady flow of similar cases efficiently.Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
