Job description:Hygiene OperativeLocation: Corby Hours: Mon/Tues/ Friday to Sunday 8:00am 4:00pm or Wednesday to Sunday 8.00am-4pm. Pay Rate: £13.45 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative to join a busy packaging warehouse operating to BRC Global Standard requirements. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe and compliant working environment throughout the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and sanities warehouse areas, packing stations, welfare facilities, offices and communal areas.Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with BRC site rules and company procedures.Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and packing areas.Safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment and PPE in line with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in the correct designated areas.Complete cleaning schedules and records accurately.Report any hygiene, safety or maintenance issues to the relevant supervisor.Support the business in maintaining audit-ready standards at all times.RequirementsPrevious hygiene experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.Understanding of BRC site rules or experience working in a BRC-accredited environment is advantageous.Knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles.Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and safe chemical handling.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable, punctual and flexible with a positive attitude.What We Offer£13.45 per hour.Location: CorbyMon/Tues/ Friday to Sunday 8:00am 4:00pm or Wednesday to Sunday 8.00am-4pm.Full training provided.Friendly and supportive team environment.Opportunity for ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position.Benefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In personTPBN1_UKTJ
