Support Worker

We are looking for a resilient, compassionate, and proactive Support Worker to support individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and behaviours that may challenge.

The successful candidate will provide person-centred support, promote independence, and maintain a safe and positive environment. They must be able to remain calm under pressure, use effective de-escalation techniques, and work confidently as part of a team.

• Support individuals with daily living activities and community engagement.

• Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and risk assessments.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
\n
• Promote dignity, choice, independence, and safeguarding.
\n

Essential Requirements:.

• Strong emotional resilience and excellent communication skills.
\n
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Willingness to undertake and participate in approved physical intervention and restraint procedures when necessary, in line with training, legislation, and company policies.
\n
• Flexible and reliable approach to shift work.
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and physical intervention training.
\n
