C&I Technician

Working on behalf of our client based on Isle of Grain. We are currently recruiting for a C&I Technician on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in control and instrumentation within an industrial or process environment. Key Duties: Carry out fault finding and rectification on electrical equipmentPerform breakdown repairs and reactive maintenanceProvide instrumentation support across site operationsDiagnose and troubleshoot control and instrumentation issuesConduct calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in line with proceduresComplete both planned and reactive maintenance activitiesWork on a range of industrial/process equipment including boilers, turbines, switchgear, VFDs, pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, and control systemsLiaise effectively with internal teams and external contractorsSupport technical input for proposals and tenders where requiredWhat we are looking for in the successful candidate: Full, clean UK driving licenceTime-served apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years relevant experienceHNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline18th Edition IEE Wiring RegulationsInspection & Testing (2391) certificationCompEx certification (EX01EX04)Good IT skillsStrong team player with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate progress effectivelyWhat our client can offer in return: £45 per hour7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday (Potential Overtime Available)1 month projectTPBN1_UKTJ
