Transport PlannerCrawley£32,000 - £42,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Permanent PositionImmediate Interviews AvailablePin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join a well-established transport and distribution business operating a fleet of over 60 vehicles , ranging from 3.5 tonne vans through to Class 1 articulated vehicles .This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced operation where you'll play a key role in ensuring efficient route planning, excellent customer service and maximum vehicle utilisation.Experience planning pallet network deliveries is highly desirable, although applicants from other transport planning backgrounds will also be considered.Key Responsibilities:Planning and routing daily vehicle movements across a large mixed fleetManaging vehicles ranging from 3.5t vans through to Class 1 HGVsPlanning deliveries and collections across the South EastLiaising with drivers throughout the shift regarding routes, collections and operational issuesMaximising fleet utilisation while maintaining excellent customer serviceMonitoring vehicle progress and responding to any operational challengesWorking closely with warehouse, customer service and transport teamsEnsuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Regulations and transport legislationMaintaining accurate transport records and supporting the smooth running of the operationRequirements:Minimum 3 years' experience in a Transport Planner rolePrevious pallet network (TPN or similar) planning experience preferred but not essentialStrong geographical knowledge of Surrey and Sussex is advantageousExperience planning multiple vehicles within a busy transport environmentExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressureExperience using transport management systemsPositive, proactive and solution-focused attitudeShift Patterns:Applicants can choose one of the following permanent shift patterns:Option 1Monday to Friday2:00pm to 11:00pmOption 2Sunday to Thursday12:00am to 9:00amAlternative working patterns may also be considered for the right candidate.Salary & Benefits:£32,000 - £42,000 per annum , depending on experiencePermanent, full-time positionOpportunity to join a large transport operation with over 60 vehiclesLong-term career progressionSupportive management teamStable and growing businessFor more information or to apply, contact Pin Point Recruitment on 0208 773 3250 .TPBN1_UKTJ
