Were now looking for an Assistant Stores Person to help keep our Chesham Stores running smoothly and ensure colleagues have the tools, materials and equipment they need to deliver great service.About the RoleThis is a hands-on, practical role based at our Chesham Stores, with regular travel to other SettleParadigm locations. Youll work closely with our Stores Person to keep the stores organised, support technicians, manage stock, and help maintain a safe working environment.Youll also support our Fleet team with minor vehicle repairs and vehicle movements, assist with ordering and delivering materials, and act as a keyholder responsible for opening and closing the building.If you enjoy practical work, like keeping things organised and want a role where youre supporting colleagues every day, this could be a great fit.What Youll Be DoingSupporting stores operations, helping improve processes and providing a friendly, professional service to techniciansMaintaining a clean and organised site at Chesham, including regular checks at Travis PerkinsOrdering and managing stock, parts, materials, tools and uniformCollecting and delivering materials when requiredSupporting fleet operations, minor repairs (mirrors, lenses, bulbs) and vehicle pick-ups/deliveriesActing as a keyholder, opening and closing the buildingMaintaining safety records, PAT testing, ladder testing, harness checks and fire alarm testingKeeping accurate stock and safety documentationWhat A Typical Day Would Look LikeStores are clean, organised and well-stockedTechnicians receive a helpful, reliable serviceSafety checks and records are completed accurately and on timeMaterials and vehicles are moved efficiently between sitesProcesses improve and the stores run smoothly day-to-dayAbout YouYoull do well in this role if you:Communicate clearly and professionallyAre organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environmentHave strong attention to detailTake pride in maintaining a safe workspaceEnjoy practical, hands-on workCan work well with technicians, fleet colleagues and suppliersAre confident driving vans of different sizesAre comfortable travelling between sitesHave the mobility and fitness needed for moving equipmentWhat Youll NeedEssentialExcellent communication skillsStrong organisational skillsAttention to detailCommitment to health & safetyClean driving licenceIT literacyAbility to work collaborativelyAbility to attend mandatory training (online and in-person)PreferableConfidence driving vans of varying sizesPrevious stores experienceExperience working with trade operativesExperience or confidence with minor vehicle repairsPrevious keyholder experienceBenefitsAt SettleParadigm, we believe in creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
