No High St retail or domesticPURPOSE OF AN EMERGENCY LIGHTING TESTERWe're now looking for an experienced Electrician / Tester to join our team, carrying out emergency lighting inspections.Occasionally, you'll carry out small repair projects yourself, but the core focus is inspection, compliance and customer service.You'll be a trusted, regular presence on site — so a professional, friendly and personable approach is essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN EMERGENCY LIGHTING TESTERCarry out emergency lighting inspections across multiple sitesAccurately record findings and produce clear reportsIdentify and recommend remedial works or system upgradesComplete minor repairs where requiredBuild strong working relationships with site teamsEnsure compliance with current electrical and safety regulationQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCECompleted Electrical Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring RegulationsExperience in maintenance, compliance or inspection-based electrical workStrong attention to detail and reporting skillsProfessional and approachable communication styleFull UK driving licenceAbility to pass a DBS checkSALARY/BENEFITS£41.5k base salary (With travel pay included, total annual earnings up to £60kHolidays- 30 days including Bank holidaysHours of Work - 45 hours a week.Company vehicle - A suitable company car is provided for business use. A company van and fuel card is supplied. Complete with all power tools, testers and PPE.Pension - The current level of contribution by the company is 3% of salary, with the person contributing 5%.
