Shunter Driver

At Origin we are looking for a Shunter Driver who will be responsible for moving and driving Origin company vehicles between units for the loading team to load with the relevant products needed for customer deliveries.Working hours: 2.45pm - 11.15pmKey Responsibilities of the Shunter Driver includes but not limited to:Be responsible for the safe movement of vehicles around OriginDriver up to and including 7.5t Vehicles, so you can shunt vehicles onto relevant loading baysParking up of vehicles after they have been fully loadedMaking sure that all of the vehicles are ticked and secured when leftEnsuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all timesNote any damage that is spotted on vehicles and report as requiredAssist the loading team when and if required with the loading and unloading of the vehiclesWorking in a professional manner in line with company guidelinesParticipate fully in any training identifiedWhat you will have7.5 tonne licenseRelevant transport background and having working in a transport environment for a minimum of 2 years or experience of warehouse background where vehicles have been loaded and control of a small teamExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent team worker with a hands on approachFlexible and ReliableAbility to remain calm under pressure and take initiativeWillingness to think outside the box and get involved even when outside the job descriptionWhat Origin can Offer youAs our biggest asset, every member of the Origin Family will receive subsidised healthcare with includes 24/7 virtual GP access, gym and retail discounts and more!Keen cyclist?
