This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is looking for long-term stability with a company that values its employees.Working in a clean, heated, and well-ventilated workshop, you'll play a key role in the production of bespoke components used across a variety of industries.The Role As a CNC Router Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components to customer specifications.Your duties will include:Programming and operating 3-Axis CNC routersMachining MDF, plywood, melamine-faced boards, and other sheet materialsReading and interpreting technical drawings and job specificationsPerforming routine machine maintenance and daily checksMonitoring quality throughout the manufacturing processEnsuring work is completed accurately and efficientlyMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and workshop organisationWorking closely with colleagues to meet production deadlinesFollowing all health and safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For Minimum 3 years' experience programming and operating 3-Axis CNC routersExperience machining MDF, plywood, melamine-faced boards, and similar materialsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood understanding of CNC machine maintenance and careExcellent timekeeping and reliabilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsPositive attitude with a willingness to contribute to the wider teamJoinery or woodworking experience would be advantageousWhat's in it for you?
