We strongly believe that The Best People Care - and that is exactly what we do.Job OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to an 84-year-old gentleman in his own home in Newbury.The individual has Lewy Body Dementia and kidney failure, and requires consistent, person-centred support to maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.This is a Monday to Sunday rota-based position, with shifts provided in advance. you will be paid weekly.This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in someones daily life while developing your skills within complex care.ResponsibilitiesDeliver personalised care in line with the individuals care planSupport with all aspects of personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobilityProvide safe moving and handling support, including use of hoists where requiredAssist with medication administration in accordance with training and care plansMonitor and report changes in the individuals physical or emotional wellbeingProvide companionship and emotional reassurance, particularly in relation to dementia-related confusion or distressSupport with nutrition, hydration, and daily routinesAssist with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environmentSupport attendance at appointments or activities when requiredMaintain accurate daily records and documentationExperience & RequirementsAt least 6 months UK care experience requiredExperience supporting individuals with dementia is highly desirableExperience in complex care or high-needs support is advantageousStrong understanding of dignity, privacy, and person-centred careGood communication and observational skillsAbility to remain calm, patient, and supportive in challenging situationsFull UK driving licence preferred but not essentialPlease note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.What We OfferWeekly payFull training and ongoing developmentConsistent rota provided in advanceSupportive team environmentOpportunities for career progression within complex carePaid mandatory trainingFree on-site parking (where applicable)Additional InformationJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryContract length: 60 monthsWork Location: In person - NewburyTPBN1_UKTJ
