Want to come and be a part of it?What will you be doing?As a Quantity Surveyor, youll play a vital part in transforming infrastructure by managing the commercial performance of your programme. Youll work closely with operational, finance and procurement teams, ensuring robust controls are in place to meet all commercial requirements. You will be responsible for preparing accurate valuations and payment applications, tracking certifications and payments, and promptly escalating or resolving issues. Additionally, youll administer contracts, guide operational teams on compliance, and support senior colleagues with process improvements, while overseeing and mentoring junior team members to maintain quality.Youll validate supply chain cost data, manage subcontractor onboarding and payments, and resolve commercial issues efficiently. Rigorous record keeping is key, so youll maintain accurate commercial documentation and monitor contract performance through detailed cash flow and cost forecasting. By producing clear reports and supporting performance validation, youll help secure successful delivery and commercial outcomes for your projects.What youll bringYoull have a degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline) and proven experience delivering complex projects in infrastructure or construction. Your commercial acumen is backed by a thorough understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contract suites across varied project types. Youre skilled at managing relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and negotiation capabilities. Highly IT-literate, youre confident using MS Office and analytical tools for effective data management and reporting.
