We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care within a nurturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs

  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of all children in your care
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines
  • \n
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
  • \n
  • Support children's emotional and social development through nurturing interactions
  • \n
  • Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment
  • \n
  • Assist with the organisation of nursery routines, including meal times, naps, and play sessions
  • \n
  • Contribute to the ongoing assessment and planning of individualised learning programmes
  • \n
  • Supervise children during outings or activities outside the nursery premises, including driving when necessary
  • \n

Skills

  • Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
  • \n
  • Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily nursery operations effectively
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • \n
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
  • \n
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and team members
  • \n
  • Organised with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
  • \n
  • Driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
  • \n
  • Passionate about childcare with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and development
  • \n
