Permanent vacancy - Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
\nLocation - Kirkintilloch
\nWorking Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm
\nSalary - 31,200 DOE
\n \nAbout the Role
\nWe are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial, retail and distribution properties across Central Scotland. The successful candidate will undertake planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nGeneral building fabric repairs including ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, doors, locks, frames and ironmongery.
\nMinor plumbing repairs including taps, sinks, toilets, urinals and drainage issues.
\nPainting, decorating and making-good works.
\nFire door inspections, repairs, door closers, pivots and re-hanging.
\nProcurement of materials and equipment required for maintenance activities.
\nSupport office fit-outs, refurbishments and planned project works.
\nCompletion of worksheets, compliance documentation and client sign-off procedures.
\nDeliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
\nCandidate Requirements
\nPrevious experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance or Building Fabric role.
\nExperience within commercial, retail, office or industrial environments.
\nUnderstanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
\nFull UK Driving Licence.
\nExperience using PDA or handheld job management systems.
\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.
\nFlexible approach to overtime and occasional out-of-hours works.
