Senior Integration Developer (IBM ACE / IIB) - Banking - LondonLocationLondon, UK (Hybrid)Working Pattern: 8 days onsite per month, remainder remoteEngagement: Umbrella company onlyRATE: £500 - £600The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Developer to join a highly skilled engineering team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise integration and messaging solutions within a complex financial services environment.This is an excellent opportunity to work on business-critical systems, designing, developing and maintaining high-performance integration services that support large-scale transaction processing. You'll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, working closely with analysts, developers and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable and high-quality solutions.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior IBM ACE / IIB Developer, you will:Design and develop integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB).Produce detailed technical designs and program specifications from high-level functional requirements.Develop, test and deploy high-quality integration services and message flows.Configure and develop solutions using IBM MQ.Produce deployment documentation and automated deployment scripts.Create and execute unit and subsystem test plans.Support application integration and production deployments.Participate in code reviews, design reviews and technical discussions.Perform proof-of-concepts to validate solution designs and meet performance and throughput requirements.Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams to deliver solutions on time and to a high standard.Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong commercial experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE v12) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB v10+) .Experience developing and supporting IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ solutions.Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with Oracle databases.Experience working with Oracle database design.Good knowledge of Linux (RHEL) environments.Experience with XML and JSON message formats.Strong understanding of enterprise integration and messaging architecture.Experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and solution designs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Desirable SkillsExperience with any of the following would be advantageous:SWIFT ISO 15022 and/or ISO 20022 messaging standards.Financial services, banking, payments or capital markets.C#.NETJavaC++Linux Shell ScriptingREST APIsPerformance tuning and optimisation of integration solutions.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Passionate about delivering high-quality software.Comfortable working within a fast-paced Agile environment.Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented.Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high technical standards.Keen to learn new technologies and broaden their technical expertise.Working ArrangementsLocation: LondonHybrid: 8 days onsite per month, remainder remote.Engagement: Umbrella company only.If you're an experienced IBM ACE / IIB professional looking to work on complex enterprise integration platforms within a collaborative and technically challenging environment, we'd be delighted to hear from you.*Rates depend on experience and client requirementsTPBN1_UKTJ
